Vote No 8825 is a public petition effort–-led by County residents–-to place a question on the 2026 General Election ballot in Baltimore County to repeal Baltimore County Bill No. 88-25 Property Tax Credits for Eligble Port Property passed December 15, 2025, whose sole purpose is exempting one single solitary private multi-billion dollar developer the same three year property tax assessment at the $1.1 per $100 tax rate all other Baltimore County residents and businesses must pay. Bill 88-25 potentially costs billions of dollars in lost tax revenue for public services and infrastructure all other Baltimore County property tax payer will have to make up.
Supporting the Vote No 8825 petition will place Bill No. 88-25 on the 2026 ballot mitigating the impacts of special interest groups in politics by ensuring the decision-making authority how Baltimore County property tax money is collected and allocated remains in public hands.
